Our menstrual cups are manufactured with the highest quality surgical grade silicone, the same as the one that is used for example to made surgical instruments, teats for baby pacifiers and baby bottles or breast implants.<\/p>

All of our menstrual cups have been tested by Intertek in their independent laboratory in Germany through a laboratory analysis that looks for the chemical cups called SVHC (Highly Concerned Substances). These substances are cataloged in the REACH regulation in the following :<\/p>

  • Carcinogenic substances<\/li>
  • Mutagenic substances<\/li>
  • Substances toxic to reproduction<\/li>
  • Persistent, bioaccumulative and toxic substances<\/li>
  • Substances for which there is “scientific evidence of serious effects on human health or the environment which give rise to an equivalent level of concern”<\/li><\/ul>

    No traces of any SVHC have been found in Sileu menstrual cups; therefore, our menstrual cups have the quality seals: “PAH tested” (no polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons), “Lead free”, “Cadmium free” and” Tin Organic Compounds tested”.<\/p>
