Description
The Sileu Classic is our everyday cup: a classic bell shape, medium flexibility and the easiest stem to grip in the whole range. Its stem is flat and wide (20 mm in size S, 25 mm in size L), and that flat surface is what makes the difference when you take it out: your fingers find something to hold first time, without slipping. We explain the full technique in how to remove the menstrual cup with no stains and no tugging.
Who it is for
For a routine without extremes: work, commuting, the gym at a moderate pace, weekend walks. Its medium flexibility means it opens easily when inserted and you do not notice it sitting down. At 70–80 mm long overall, it works best with a mid or high cervix.
If this is your first cup and you are torn between models, the Classic is a safe bet shape-wise; our guide on how to choose your first menstrual cup will help you confirm it. And if you would also like to choose how soft it is, have a look at the Sileu Rose, the only one made in three flexibilities.

What changes between size S and size L
The Classic grows in length with the size: 70 mm in S and 80 mm in L, and the stem goes from 20 to 25 mm. The rim, however, stays at 40 mm in both. That is why the L gains capacity (30 ml up to the air holes, compared with 25) without getting any wider. The S is for women who have not had a vaginal birth; the L, for those who have. Colour, material and care
Available in red, purple and clear, in medical-grade silicone certified to ISO 10993. Its flat stem can be trimmed with scissors if it is too long: better a little at a time, trying it between cuts. Sterilise it between cycles in a pan or in the foldable steriliser. Compatible with an IUD and the contraceptive ring.
